Our Story
We are proof that there is love in the advertising industry, we met the old fashion way in a bar after work and the rest as they say is history. We moved back to Long Island with the birth of our oldest child and the rest is history.
We love where we live and want to help businesses that are struggling to keep up with the real world changes that are happening around us, hence the birth of Grow Local. We believe that if the businesses in our town new the tricks of the trade of the big marketers they will not only survive but thrive with small changes.

Tara Schwartz
Wanting to be closer to home Tara shifted away from big agency life to building local car dealerships on Long Island for the last 10+ years.
She is also very involved with the Long Island Ladies soccer league where she is not only a board member but still plays (age is only a number).
Founder (Pop)
Scott Schwartz
Spent 20+ years working with Fortune 500 companies but wanted something more satisfying in business. Scott believes take help your community and they will take care of you.
He is a strong member in the Plainview Old Bethpage community, he has volunteered with the local soccer club taking a board position for 6 years at POBSC and volunteering for a special needs program for 8+ years.

Couldn't be prouder of our Emmy-award–winning producer, director, and editor (also Scott's sister) with 20 years of commercial storytelling under her belt, she always been driven by one thing: humanity on screen
Bethanie grew up on Long Island but has moved to Jersey, raising her boys as Billy over Bruce fans. She is very involved in her school running multiple charity functions.
